Yadav was established in 1983 as jewelers and diamonds wholesalers on South of Market district in San Francisco. They specialize in wholesale diamond and Rings with selection of conflict-free natural and lab-grown diamonds.
At Yadav project, we have had the privilege of collaborating with a leading jewelry company at the end of 2nd quarter of 2016. Over the years, our partnership has evolved, with us initially developing their first e-commerce version on top of Spree Commerce. Since then, we have been dedicated to providing continuous maintenance and implementing improvements, including the development of a sophisticated diamonds management system. Now 2023, we are excited to showcase the latest milestone in our journey together—a transformative website we developed from scratch combining Spree Commerce and NextJS.
Enhanced Ecommerce Experience
Building on our longstanding relationship, we set out to create a state-of-the-art website for this jewelry company. Thanks to Spree Commerce's expertise, we were able to create a seamless and intuitive e-commerce experience, building on the foundation of our first collaboration. With each iteration, we have improved and optimized the functionality of the website, always keeping in mind the specific needs of our client.
For the checkout process we have implemented Authorize.net, Paypal and Affirm payment gateways. In addition, we've integrated Signifyd service for secure purchase by assigning a risk scoring (anti-fraud). Finally, we connected admin panel with all necessary information to processing national and international shipping accordingly.
Customers have the convenience of booking appointment, receiving personalized attention and consultation prior to making their purchase. To streamline the scheduling process, we have integrated Calendly service, allowing for efficient management of all scheduled meetings.
Diamonds and suppliers management
Recognizing the need for an efficient supply chain, we developed a custom supplier integration system that has transformed the way the company manages its relationships with providers. This innovative solution automates inventory updates at daily basis, pricing adjustments, and product details, ensuring real-time accuracy and efficiency. Our ongoing commitment to the company's success has led us to continuously enhance and refine this supplier integration system, aligning it with the evolving needs of the jewelry industry.
The system is designed to efficiently handle a vast inventory of over 300,000 diamonds, encompassing a wide range of shapes and carat weights, from 0.12 to 20 carats. With robust database management and optimized search functionality, we ensure that customers can easily navigate through this extensive collection and find the perfect diamond that meets their unique preferences. Our system's scalability and performance capabilities enable seamless handling of such a diverse and extensive inventory, providing an great user experience for customers seeking the finest diamonds in the digital catalogue.
This catalogue was previously integrated with the Walmart API, which was turned off. In 2020 we have migrated to Google Merchant Center for enhanced functionality and opportunities.

Leveraging CloudFlare's Workers and deploying the website on the DigitalOcean App Platform, we have maximized the website's performance and responsiveness. Our ongoing commitment to performance optimization allows this jewelry company to handle increasing traffic and maintain a competitive edge in the digital marketplace.
Intercom integration for live chat and customer care
The cliente used to use an old live chat integrated with his previous website version. We have recommended to integrate new Intercom platform which offers not just a live chat but a complete tool for a proper customer care with better approach.
